We know how important your pets are to you.  With prior arrangements we may be able to accommodate you. River Haven has a fenced in back yard that can hold up to two dogs (depending and size and habits.)  Because of the deer and other wildlife that are around as well as for the potential impact on other residents in the area, we ask that you not let your pets run free and that you be able to control your pet's barking.  If your pet has a tendency to dig, howl or bark incessantly, we prefer that you find him/her a comfortable place to stay elsewhere while you are staying at River Haven.

Due to previous unfortunate experiences, we require an additional, non-refundable, pet cleaning fee.   Should there be any damage done by your pet, an amount to cover repairs will be taken out of your security deposit.  Nothing would please us more than to be able to return your full deposit after you have enjoyed your stay at River Haven with your pet.

If you would like to board your pet locally, we recommend the Weaverville Pet Motel which is located just 20 minutes from River Haven.  They can be reached at 530-623-0060.  Advance reservations are recommended.
