River Haven Cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home located on the beautiful Trinity River in the mountains of Northern California. This vacation rental, located just 35 miles west of Redding near the old mining town of Lewiston, is an easy 4 to 5 hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Whether you desire to do a lot or nothing at all, Trinity County has much to offer. Camping and hiking in the Trinity Alps are favorites of many.  Some like to water ski and swim up at Trinity Lake while others prefer to troll on the placid waters of Lewiston Lake. Fishing, shopping in historic Weaverville, bird watching, white water rafting on the Trinity or doing nothing at all--River Haven cottage is perfectly situated to accommodate your vacation needs.

River Haven Cottage is available for use year round.  Summers are popular with everyone.  The fall colors and swollen streams full of fresh spring runoff seem to attract the fisher people (the Trinity River is famous for its runs of Salmon and Steelhead.)  And while there isn't snow on the ground all winter, it's not uncommon to awake and find several inches of newly fallen snow lacing the landscape.
